Answer

Normally, if an image must be cropped slightly to fit a particular print size, we use our best judgment for the best aesthetic result. Our experience is that usually cropping is not a problem.

If we do see a problem – such as important details that might be lost in a crop - we’ll call or email you to discuss it. If you would like your image to be cropped in some particular way, just let us know when you place your order.

If you shoot with a "35 mm" format camera, and you want to keep the full image as shot, choose a print size like 8x12 or 20x30, which has the same 1:1.5 relation of height to width as a 35 mm frame.
